Corporation with good health management

For the third consecutive year since 2023, we are proud to be certified as a ‘Corporate Health Management Excellence Organization.’ This prestigious recognition is part of a national system established by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Japan Health Conference, honoring companies with truly outstanding employee health and wellness programs.

Marathon project

Since 2017, our company has been conducting annual training trips in which, in principle, all employees participate. These training trips are not intended for leisure, but rather as symbolic events to put into practice our values as stated in “The IoT-EX Way”: “We will continue to create, challenge, and grow together.”

During training trips, we participate in events that everyone can join, or we plan and implement our own events. In the past, we often participated in the Honolulu Marathon, but in 2024, we participated in the Singapore Marathon’s “ekiden” relay race.

This was a relay event in which a team of five members ran a 42.195 km course. We formed a team with members who don’t usually work together. We trained as a team from August, not just for the actual relay race in December, and after training we had dinner together to deepen our understanding and bonds with each other. On the day of the race, all the teams showed consideration for each other and successfully completed the course.

In addition to the relay race, we also held a team-building event during this training trip. Teams were formed with members from the same department or closely related departments, and they worked together to accomplish a mission within a limited time frame. This allowed us to see sides of each other that we don’t normally see at work, and we were able to spend an intense time working together as a team toward a common goal in a short period of time.

The training trip is promoted as a project by employees, from planning to operation. This is an important initiative to put into practice the motto of “The IoT-EX Way”: “We create together, challenge together, and continue to grow together.” At our company, we position this training trip as an event where we “create” something new every year, ‘challenge’ the goals set by teams formed for individuals or events, and “grow” together as project members and participants, each from their own perspective.

Office

Working Anywhere gives us the freedom to work anywhere, but we also value the existence of our office.
It is a place where all members can meet face-to-face with peace of mind, a place where we can engage in free and lively discussions using wall-to-wall whiteboards, and a place where we can work freely in counter chairs or sofas depending on our mood at the time. It is not a highly designed office, but we are conscious of creating a space where members can gather with peace of mind and work comfortably. Our office is located just a 5-minute walk from Kanda Station, making it convenient for commuting from within Tokyo or nearby areas.
