IoT-EX Inc. has been recognized as a “Great Place to Work” for six consecutive years!
IoT-EX Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoshihiro Obata) has been certified as a “Great Place to Work®” by the Great Place to Work® Institute Japan, based on its globally standardized survey and evaluation criteria.

Great Place to Work® Institute (GPTW) is a specialized organization that conducts surveys, evaluations, and support related to “Great Places to Work®.” It administers surveys to companies using globally standardized criteria and announces companies recognized as “Great Places to Work®” in media outlets across various countries. It is the world’s largest employee engagement survey, with over 21,000 companies participating across approximately 170 countries (as of March 2025). In Japan, 657 companies participate.
At IoT-EX, we continuously enhance employee engagement through ongoing initiatives to realize our corporate philosophy, “The IoT-EX Way.”
1. Working Anytime, Anywhere
Our company implemented a super-flexible working hours system (Working Anytime) without core hours and a remote work system (Working Anywhere) allowing employees to freely choose their work location for all full-time employees starting in November 2018, even before the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have established an environment where each employee, as an autonomous professional, can independently make the optimal choice regarding when and where to work based on their circumstances at any given time. This enables employees to achieve a balance between work and their personal priorities, including childcare, caregiving, and other important private commitments.
2. An environment that supports your desire for personal growth
Our company has established and operates various systems to support our employees’ voluntary growth. One example is our language learning support program. With 40% of our employees being foreign nationals, English conversation is important for Japanese employees, while Japanese conversation is important for foreign employees. Therefore, we offer an English learning support program for employees whose native language is not English (this is not limited to Japanese employees) and a Japanese learning support program for employees whose native language is not Japanese.
3. Marathon Project
Since 2017, our company has annually conducted a training trip involving all executives and employees, along with contracted members who wish to participate. During this trip, we take part in a marathon. This training trip is not intended for leisure; rather, it serves as a symbolic event to put into practice our values as stated in “The IoT-EX Way”: “We create together, challenge together, and continue to grow together.” Participants not only challenge physical goals they set for themselves, but also deepen mutual understanding and strengthen bonds based on trust by sharing experiences throughout the trip.
Through these initiatives, our company has been recognized as a “Great Place to Work” by GPTW for six consecutive years and six times overall.
