IoT-EX Co., Ltd. (IoT-EX, located in Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Shihiro Obata, hereinafter referred to as IoT-EX) has been awarded the Runner-up Grand Prize (IoT category) at the ASPIC Cloud Award 2024, Japan’s most prestigious cloud award. This award recognizes IoT-EX Co., Ltd.’s new service, “DER PoC Pack,” which aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, and acknowledges the company’s integrated monitoring and control technology.

The ASPIC Cloud Award is presented by the Japan Cloud Industry Association (ASPIC, located in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, chaired by Teruyuki Kawai) with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and other organizations. It honors outstanding and socially beneficial cloud services in Japan with awards such as the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Award, the Overall Grand Prize, department-specific Grand Prizes, and other awards. This is the eighth time our company has won an ASPIC Award (including the era of its predecessor, BizMobile Co., Ltd.), and this time we received three awards, including the Runner-Up Grand Prix (IoT category and AI category).

The DER PoC Pack eliminates the hassle of setting up the environment, allowing us to monitor and control a wide variety of DERs (distributed energy resources such as solar panels, batteries, and electric vehicles) simply by developing our own programs (Python, etc.). Additionally, the low implementation costs and detailed support options were also attractive.
