IoT-EX Co., Ltd. has been recognized as a “Great Place to Work” for five consecutive years!

IoT-EX Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshihiro Obata) has been certified as a “Great Place to Work” by the Great Place to Work® Institute Japan, which conducts surveys and evaluations based on globally recognized standards.

The Great Place to Work® Institute (GPTW) is a specialized organization that conducts surveys, evaluations, and support related to “Great Places to Work®.” It conducts surveys using globally standardized criteria and announces companies recognized as “Great Places to Work®” in media outlets around the world. The survey involves over 10,000 companies across approximately 150 countries, making it the world’s largest employee engagement survey.

At IoT-EX, we are continuously striving to enhance employee engagement through initiatives aimed at realizing our corporate philosophy, “The IoT-EX Way.”

1. Working Anytime, Anywhere
Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, in November 2018, we implemented a super flexible working hour system (Working Anytime) with no core hours for all full-time employees, as well as a remote working system (Working Anywhere) that allows employees to freely choose where they work. Each employee acts as an autonomous professional, making the best choices for themselves regarding work hours and locations based on their circumstances, while also balancing work with important personal responsibilities such as childcare, elder care, and other private matters.

2. An Environment That Supports Personal Growth
We have established and operate various systems to support employees’ voluntary growth. One example is our language learning support program. With 40% of our employees being foreign nationals, communication in English is important for Japanese employees, and communication in Japanese is important for foreign employees. Therefore, we have prepared an English learning support program for employees whose native language is not English (this is not limited to Japanese employees) and a Japanese learning support program for employees whose native language is not Japanese.

3. Marathon Project
Since 2017, our company has been organizing training trips every year for all executives and employees, as well as contracted staff who wish to participate, during which we participate in marathons. This is not intended as a recreational activity, but rather as a symbolic event to put into practice the values we espouse in “The IoT-EX Way”: “We create together, challenge together, and continue to grow together.” Participants not only challenge themselves to achieve physical goals they have set for themselves but also deepen their understanding of one another and strengthen their bonds based on trust through shared experiences during the trip.
Through these efforts, our company has been recognized as a “Great Place to Work” by GPTW for five consecutive years.
